1.1 Information you provide directly
- Account registration data: email address, display name, password (stored as a secure hash).
- Quotation and invoice form data that you choose to save: shipper, consignee, cargo description, weight, rates, and related shipment details.
- Payment information: when you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number or banking details.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, and actions taken within the application.
- Device and browser information: browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and language settings.
- IP address and approximate geographic location (country/city level).
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 4 below).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the LogiTick service, including generating, previewing, saving, and exporting quotations and invoices.
- To manage your account, authentication, subscription tier, and monthly usage limits.
- To process payments and manage billing through our payment processor Stripe.
- To send transactional emails such as account confirmation, password reset, and subscription updates.
- To analyse usage patterns, improve product features, and fix bugs.
- To display personalised or contextual advertisements through Google AdSense (if you have consented to advertising cookies).
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Contract performance: processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for.

4.2 Analytics Cookies
With your consent, we may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site. These help us improve the product. You may opt out at any time by withdrawing consent in the Cookie Settings.
4.3 Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense)

LogiTick uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

- Frankfurter API — live currency exchange rates (no personal data transmitted).
6. Data Retention
- Account and saved quotation/invoice data is retained while your account is active.
- Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), hashed password storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights

LogiTick is intended for business use by freight professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18.
